VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Apex Entertainment, a family entertainment center, has selected Virginia Beach's Town Center as the site of its first Mid-Atlantic location, Armada Hoffler Properties Inc. has announced.
Apex Entertainment secured a long-term lease, encompassing 84,000 square feet of space at 4621 Columbus Street. The space is currently occupied by a Dick's Sporting Goods store.
Apex Entertainment aims to cater to consumers of all ages by offering experiences and attractions, such as bowling lanes, sports simulators, virtual reality, ropes courses, indoor go-karting, corporate function space and more.
The new-to-market tenant intends to create a strong presence within the community; selecting the mixed-use destination of the Town Center for its experiential concept.
Construction and redevelopment on the site will commence in February 2020. The entertainment center plans to open to the public before 2021.
The family entertainment company was founded in 2017 and is based out of Marlborough, MA.
