A new apartment development has been approved in Santa Monica at 1430 Lincoln Boulevard. Developed by WS Communities, the development is a five-story 67,426 square-foot, mixed-use building with 5,878 square feet of ground floor commercial space, 100 residential units.

Studio T-SQ2 is serving as the architect and designer of the project. It worked very closely with the City planning staff during the development of the design, and then with the Architectural Review Board in response to their comments.

The development will replace a surface parking lot just south of Santa Monica Boulevard. Amenities will include a roof terrace, gym, spa, and a four-level subterranean parking garage. Groundbreaking is anticipated for Spring 2020.
