Rents in Los Angeles have declined 0.1%. over the past month, but have remained flat year-over-year. While, rents have remained steady in the city of Los Angeles, cities across the metro have seen rents increase. Of the largest 10 cities in the Los Angeles metro, eight of them have seen prices rise.

Overall, Los Angeles is less affordable than other major metros nationwide. The national average for a two-bedroom apartment is $1,191.
