Domuso, the popular apartment rent-pay platform, is evolving yet again. The technology platform has launched a mobile check-pay tool that will allow apartment residents to pay rent through a mobile device, GlobeSt.com has learned exclusively. This tool not only gives residents another option, but also allows property managers to accept check payments through the system to accommodate all residents, those who want to pay online and those that want to pay by check.

"Despite the popularity of digital payments, some properties still wish to allow paper checks as a payment option for residents. Current methods for check acceptance include on-site scanning at the property leasing office and off-site scanning using a bank owned lockbox, however both of these options present challenges," Michael Lightfoot, co-founder and COO of Domuso, tells GlobeSt.com. "Domuso's mobile technology reduces manual touch-points for the landlord and Mobile Check Pay allows landlords to easily accept checks without becoming overwhelmed by paper in their leasing offices."
