FRANKLIN, TN – Mitsubishi Motors North America Inc. will move its permanent headquarters to the Cool Springs district of Franklin, Tennessee.
Confirming its future location in the Nashville suburb, Mitsubishi has signed a long-term lease within the Northside at McEwen building, located at 4015 Aspen Grove Drive. The company will occupy the top floors of the property, comprising 40,000 square feet.
Mitsubishi will additionally secure exclusive signage rights for the property; the building's exterior will showcase the brand's three-diamond logo.
The property is being developed by Boyle Investment Company, with an expected completion in the spring of 2020. The structure will feature office, retail, industrial and residential offerings; aiming to create a live-work-play destination.
In efforts to execute a company-wide reinvention, Mitsubishi is currently undergoing a substantive transformation of all business aspects, including new dealerships, new vehicles and new leadership teams.
Within the past 18 months, the company's transformation has involved an 80% newly appointed leadership team, 34 new dealer partners throughout the country, two new regional office locations, as well as the distinction of establishing itself as the fastest growing Asian brand in the US.
In addition to its move to Tennessee, the company is hiring 150 new employees to help craft its future.

Scott Wetzel, Mitch Lundquist, Bo Tyler and Kevin Ziomek of JLL additionally represented Mitsubishi North American by supporting each stage of the lease process, in both securing the new space and navigating the sale of the company's former campus.
Mitsubishi Motors North America Inc. is responsible for the sales, research, development, marketing and customer service of its vehicles in the US. The company is part of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, the largest automaker alliance in the world.
