McCarthy Building Cos. has marked the topping off of Mirabella at ASU a $167 million, 20-story Life Plan Community being built on the campus of Arizona State University in Tempe. The topping-out ceremony marks the placement of the final beam atop the 613,992-square-foot tower and celebrates the achievement of this milestone.
Mirabella at ASU blends a senior community lifestyle with the learning and recreational environment of Arizona State University, delivered with resort-style amenities in spacious penthouses and apartments ranging from 751 square feet to 2,665 square feet. The 20-story tower includes four dining venues, three of which are located on the penthouse level, an indoor pool and wellness center, an event center, a wood shop, game room, on-site physical therapy, a library and underground parking.
Pacific Retirement Services is developing the property in partnership with University Realty, a subsidiary of ASU Enterprise Partners, both nonprofit entities that raise private resources for the University. Portland-based Ankrom Moissan Architects is the project designer.
