Mars M&M's signage in Times Square.

NEW YORK CITY – Sherwood Equities has signed lease renewals with two of Times Square's most high-profile retailers. They are the 30,000-square-foot M&M's store at 1600 Broadway and the 20,000-square-foot Olive Garden Italian Restaurant at 2 Times Square.

"These renewals reflect the enormous branding power our locations confer – not only the retail space but also the unsurpassed signage visibility," says Brian Turner, president of Sherwood Outdoor, in a prepared statement.

M&M's is a product of Mars, Inc., a privately-owned candy company, and occupies the two-story Broadway store called M&M's World, offering a vast variety of M&M's candies and merchandise, and features a two-story "wall of chocolate." The three-story Olive Garden restaurant at 2 Times Square has been a fixture since 1994.
