CAMBRIDGE, MA—The 254-unit Hanover Cambridge Park multifamily development here has been acquired by Guardian Life of New York City.

The property, which was completed in October 2018, was sold by The Hanover Company of Houston for an undisclosed price. The firm's regional office is located at 2 Seaport Lane in Boston.

CBRE Capital Markets' multi-housing experts Simon Butler and Biria St. John exclusively represented the seller and procured the buyer.

Hanover Cambridge Park is certified LEED Gold and consists of two five-story residential buildings with three elevated courtyards above podium garage parking. Amenities include an outdoor swimming pool with grilling area, 24/7 fitness room with Technogym and TRX equipment, bike storage, children's playground, dog wash area and clubhouse with kitchen and cinema.

The property is adjacent to the MBTA's Red Line Alewife Station, the 120-acre Alewife Brook Reservation and the 10-mile Minuteman Bikeway. Additionally, the property has access to Routes 2 and 128. The development is also near an upscale supermarket, and numerous other retail offerings.
