MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – Aventon Companies has broken ground on a luxury apartment building in Montgomery County, Maryland's 182-acre, master-planned community, Crown.
The seven-story building, titled Aventon Crown will feature 386 residences, ranging from studios to three-bedroom units. Each apartment will offer smart home technology and quartz countertops. The property will additionally offer more than 15,000 square feet of amenity space, comprising co-working lounges, private offices, fitness and yoga studios, gaming and media lounges, a podcast studio, private events space, a demonstration kitchen, a pet spa, automated package delivery, covered parking, bike storage and a repair shop. The property will also feature a private, resort-style pool, an outdoor kitchen, a fire-pit and a co-working courtyard.
The $100 million building designed by SK&I Architecture will be certified under the National Green Building Standard for sustainability.
Located in close proximity to Downtown Crown, the apartment complex is expected to open in the fall of 2021.
Aventon Companies aims to capitalize on the area's employment growth and transportation access with the new development.
Situated within Montgomery County's I-270 life sciences and bio-tech corridor, the residential and retail community, Crown broke ground on its first phase in 2012. Upon completion, the community will feature up to 2,250 residential units and 320,000 square feet of retail and commercial space.
