John Stirek John Stirek will assume a new role focused on growing Trammell Crow's major national occupier clients.

DALLAS—Trammell Crow Company is shifting its operating model from three regions to two, creating expanded eastern and western regions. This change enables Trammell Crow to elevate two of its top executives into strategic leadership roles across the country.

Effective April 1, managing director Adam Nims will succeed John Stirek as president, western region, which will now include Denver, Seattle, Portland, Northern California, Los Angeles, Newport Beach, Phoenix and Austin, previously part of the central region. At that time, Stirek will assume a new role focused on serving and growing Trammell Crow's major national occupier clients. In this role, he will pursue opportunistic expansion with select national corporate clients. Nims will continue as interim leader of Trammell Crow's Austin business unit.

Effective July 1, Trammell Crow will expand its eastern region to include the former central region business units of Dallas, Houston, Chicago and Atlanta, and the current eastern region business units of MidAtlantic, NE Metro, Kansas City and Boston. Adam Saphier, the current president of the central region, will assume added responsibility and succeed Chris Roth as president of the expanded eastern region. After a 41-year career with Trammell Crow, Roth will retire at the end of June.
