BioReference Labs Renews 50,000 SF Industrial Lease in Elmwood Park
BioReference Laboratories is the firm’s largest tenant leasing more than 227,037 square feet in Elmwood Park spread across four buildings in Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ portfolio.
ELMWOOD PARK, NJ—BioReference Laboratories, which has a major presence here, has signed a lease renewal for more than 50,000 square feet of industrial space at Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ 491 Edward H. Ross Drive in Elmwood Park.
The lease renewal for 50,429 square feet solidifies the locally-based OPKO Health company’s presence in Elmwood Park. BioReference Laboratories is the firm’s largest tenant leasing more than 227,037 square feet in Elmwood Park spread across four buildings in Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ portfolio.
Alfred Sanzari Enterprises has a portfolio of office and industrial assets comprising more than 277,000 square feet of rentable space in Elmwood Park. In addition to Elmwood Park Plaza, a 68,000-square-foot office building at 475 Market St., Alfred Sanzari Enterprises is the developer, owner, and manager of three industrial buildings in Elmwood Park totaling 209,904 square feet across 481 Edward H. Ross Drive, 487 Edward H. Ross Drive, and 491 Edward H. Ross Drive.
Established in 1981, BioReference Laboratories has been a tenant with Alfred Sanzari Enterprises since signing its first lease to relocate the firm’s headquarters to Elmwood Park Plaza in 1988. Since then, BioReference Laboratories has grown into the nation’s largest full-service specialty laboratory, servicing approximately 11 million patients annually with a leading position in genetics, women’s health and cancer.
