Moinian Group Breaks Ground on Hudson Arts Building

New York-based owner and developer The Moinian Group launched its groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday to begin construction on the Hudson Arts Building in the West Chelsea submarket.

NEW YORK CITY-  New York-based owner and developer The Moinian Group launched its groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday to begin construction on the Hudson Arts Building in the West Chelsea submarket. The ten-story, 200,000-square-foot, Class-A office tower is located at 220 11th Ave., situated at the intersection of the Meatpacking District, Highline, and Hudson Yards.

Moinian is set to bring online 200,000 square feet of ground-up, Class-A office space with column-free floor plates, ceiling heights up to 17 feet and 12,400 square feet of roof-terrace space at the intersection of the Meatpacking District, Highline and Hudson Yards.

Positioned as one of the only new construction block front commercial projects on 11th Avenue, in the West Chelsea arts district,  The Hudson Arts Building will be built on spec, with occupancy in the Q3 of 2022.

Peter Riguardi, president of the New York Region at JLL, as well as colleagues Frank Doyle, Cynthia Wasserberger and Georgina Cook, will lead the Hudson Arts Building leasing efforts. The development will also include a flagship multi-level level retail space, totaling up to 25,000 square feet with 30-foot ceilings.
