NEW YORK CITY- Living New York, a real estate firm specializing in landlord representation, sales and new development, has acquired Mdrn. Residential, a New York-based brokerage firm.
Living New York has absorbed an estimated 40 agents and executive staff, bringing the firm's total headcount to 100 people. With the larger headcount, the firm will expand its leasing solutions for property management clients and agents.
"Adding this core group of top producing agents to our growing platform is a strategic moment for Living New York," said Devin Someck, co-founder and principal, in a prepared statement. "As we continue to meet the real estate needs of our clients, and thoughtfully invest in human capital, Mdrn.'s strengths enhance our fully integrated approach to offering landlords a one-stop-shop for their leasing and management needs."
Founded in 2004, Living New York's book of business includes principal and client-owned mixed-used, residential and commercial properties. In addition to leasing services, the firm's arm Living Management provides a full-service management arm, which manages over 200 properties in the New York-Tri State.
Founded in 2013, Mdrn. Residential specializes in investment and development, sales and leasing, management and residential technology. The union between the firm and Living New York, will create a more senior and experienced management team.
