Lakes at Creekside Lakes at Creekside will feature 45-, 50- and 60-foot homesites with first deliveries in Q3 2020.

TOMBALL, TX—More than 260 new single-family homes are slated at Lakes at Creekside, a master-planned community just south of The Woodlands in this northwest Houston submarket. One of the final phases on the 70-acre Lakes at Creekside will feature 45-, 50- and 60-foot homesites with first deliveries slated for third quarter 2020.

The development is the first joint venture between Trendmaker Homes and Toll Brothers in Houston. Trendmaker says the connection supports its strategy of building homes in locations with access to major transportation, employment corridors and schools.

Amenities at the master-planned community include a fitness and activity center, swimming pool and pavilion, playgrounds and pocket parks, and eight lakes. Trendmaker currently builds on 80-foot homesites in Lakes at Creekside, and Trendmaker and Toll Brothers will begin construction of new homes on 65-foot-wide homesites in a gated, waterfront neighborhood within the community.

Meanwhile, Trendmaker Homes and Development also purchased 38 acres in Katy, TX for a gated 131-home for-sale residential community. Located directly off of Westpark Tollway (FM 1093) at the Katy-Gaston Road intersection, Haven at Seven Lakes will offer 30-foot residences on 40-foot homesites.

Part of the land acquisition included a five-acre commercial parcel which Trendmaker has since sold to Hunington Properties and is slated to be developed separately as retail.

"Over 50% of home purchases take place in subdivisions in the suburbs, more than double the next most popular market target area, according to the National Association of Realtors," Joe Mandola, president of Trendmaker Homes Houston, tells GlobeSt.com. "Our new residential developments in the Houston suburbs of Katy and Tomball certainly play to that preference while also offering quality connectivity, allowing easy access to schools, businesses and transportation, as well as leisure-time locations."
