CONSHOHOCKEN, PA—Keystone Property Group's SORA West project reached a significant milestone with the recent topping out of the more than 492,000-square-foot, 11-story office tower here.

Keystone officials held a ceremony recently to celebrate the topping out milestone alongside executives from AmerisourceBergen, which will be relocating its global corporate headquarters to the building. Staged occupancy will begin in January 2021, and is anticipated to be fully complete by June 2021.

In addition to the 429,122-square foot office tower, which will include ground floor retail space and a bi-level below-grade parking garage, SORA West will also include a public plaza; a 133,000-square-foot, 165-key hotel with significant restaurant space and a rooftop lounge; and the existing 139-year-old Conshohocken Firehouse, which will be recreated as a gastropub with an indoor/outdoor experience and a more than 1,500-space, 467,000-square-foot parking structure.

"Today marks a significant milestone for the development of SORA West, and for Conshohocken's ongoing transformation into one of the most dynamic communities in the region," said Keystone Property Group president and COO Rich Gottlieb. "We look forward to completing the development of the office tower over the next 16 months, along with the other components of the development, that will result in a one-of-a-kind, mixed-use destination serving as an anchor for a new era of success and prosperity in the region."

Conshohocken-based Keystone was named developer of the site in 2013 after an RFP process administered by the borough and the Montgomery County Redevelopment Authority. Keystone's portfolio also includes Washington Square, which is bounded by three iconic, historic properties developed by Keystone: the Curtis, the Washington, and 100 Independence Mall West, the historic Dow Chemical building in Philadelphia.

The Harman Group provided structural engineering and parking planning and design services for the project, in partnership with developer, Keystone Property Group, architects, Gensler and DLR and construction manager, Intech.
