TETERBORO, NJ—Veteran commercial real estate broker Thomas A. Vetter of NAI James E. Hanson has been named president of the New Jersey Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Officer Realtors (SIOR NJ).
Vetter has decades of experience in representing tenants, landlords, buyers and sellers in industrial transactions. Throughout his career, Vetter, a senior VP with NAI James E. Hanson, has helped sell or lease millions of square feet of industrial space throughout the Meadowlands market. A member of SIOR NJ since 2013 Vetter has played a vital role in expanding the chapter's profile by contributing to the broader community through its strong relationship with The Rutgers Center for Real Estate.
"I would like to thank SIOR NJ for this tremendous honor and for providing me with the opportunity to lead one of the state's most prestigious real estate organizations," Vetter says. "In this new role, I hope to build upon the hard work of SIOR NJ's previous leadership teams to continue to expand the profile of the New Jersey chapter within our industry."
Vetter is a member of the Industrial Brokerage Council at NAI James E. Hanson specializing in the New Jersey Meadowlands market. He is experienced in both landlord and tenant Representation. Vetter has been successful in the representation of several prominent Meadowlands landlords, while on the tenant-buyer side, he has represented such companies as Coining, Inc., Sitex Group, SourceOne Worldwide, The Pepsi Bottling Group and InterCept Inc. In 2013, he earned the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation, one of the most prestigious in commercial real estate.
The Montclair University graduate is the ninth member of NAI James E. Hanson firm to serve as SIOR NJ President: Scott Perkins (2019), Ken Lundberg (2009), Josh Levering (2005), William Hanson (2003), Roy Lucas (2005), Mildred C. Hanson (1989), Peter O. Hanson (1973, 1974), and James E. Hanson (1952).
Additionally, Peter O. Hanson (1985) and James E. Hanson (1965) have served as National Presidents of SIOR and William Hanson currently serves on the SIOR Foundation Board of Trustees.
The New Jersey Chapter of SIOR is made up of 75 commercial real estate brokerage specialists in the state, 10 of which are NAI James E. Hanson brokers.
