NEW YORK CITY-  Sunset Park in Brooklyn has seen droves of media companies flock to set-up shop in Industry City, a 16-building creative campus along the waterfront that has become a hotbed production and entertainment companies, Sophie Collins, chief marketing officer of MPB, tells GlobeSt.com.  The equipment and technology company that just signed a lease at the campus.

"I've seen firsthand the opportunities offered in Brooklyn, specifically on a creative campus such as Industry City, which has experienced formidable growth in recent years," Collins said. "Industry City offers the mutually beneficial flexibility needed for a firm with plans for expansion such as MPB, along with networking opportunities and cross-pollination with other technology, media, and production companies leading the way to a circular economy."

Industry City totals an estimated 6 million square feet. Started in 2013, the mixed-use complex spans 35 acres on the Sunset Park, Brooklyn waterfront. Property ownership is comprised of Belvedere Capital, Jamestown and Angelo Gordon & Co., who have made over $400 million of capital improvements to the complex and leased more than 3 million square feet of space. Rents at Industry City range from $15 to $40 per square foot.
