SAN FRANCISCO—Union House, the newest residential community from DM Development, has launched sales of its 41 condominium residences. The featured model residence is located on the third floor of the seven-story community and features a representation of the project’s high ceilings and oversized picture frame windows.

Union House has a selection of one-, two- and three-bedroom residences and townhomes starting at $1.25 million with more than two-thirds of residences offering views of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay. Oversized acoustically engineered windows provide a quiet interior while allowing natural light to enter each residence, and residences are furnished with Miele appliances and Waterworks fixtures.

Premium interiors offer oak flooring and Italian Calcutta marble. A penthouse collection of five homes will have upgraded features with many including private roof terraces.

“The homes at Union House highlight the essence of luxurious, urban living with a design aesthetic that elegantly combines heritage with modernity,” says Mark MacDonald, co-founder and CEO of DM Development. “Handel Architects succeeded at the highest level in creating a magnificent boutique residential building inspired by the grandest mansions in San Francisco and the most iconic boutique hotels throughout Europe.”

Union House’s stone-panel-and-bronze facade exterior blends with the neighborhood’s historic architecture. Situated at the nexus of the Cow Hollow, Russian Hill, Pacific Heights and Marina neighborhoods, construction of the mixed-use project is expected to be completed in early 2020.

Union House features a double-height lobby with inlaid Portuguese limestone flooring and eucalyptus wood walls with leather panels, an elegant seated parlor with marble fireplace and a floor-to-ceiling custom plaster art piece from the Parisian artisan Atelier Premiere.

“We’re proud to be able to bring these 41 residences to market and offer the first newly constructed homes in a long time to this neighborhood,” MacDonald tells GlobeSt.com. “The architecture in this area has lots of special historical features that we tried to capture in Union House’s design, and we hope that prospective residents will appreciate the level of detail that was put into this building and its features.”

The building also features a large rooftop sky lounge with panoramic views of the city and Bay, and approximately 2,900 square feet of ground-level retail space. Union House is situated within walking distance of a number of transportation options and boasts a projected Walk Score of 94, Bike Score of 73 and Transit Score of 91.

Marketing and sales for Union House are managed by Polaris Pacific.

New construction sales activity is off to a solid start with 30 new construction contracts signed in January 2020, compared to 20 new construction contracts signed in January 2019. The Compass Condominium Price Tracker was at $1,160 per square foot in January, holding flat year-over-year.
