MEDLEY, FL—Del Valle Brands has entered into a new long-term industrial lease with Seagis Property Group for space totaling 125,976 square feet at 8150 NW 76th Ave. here. Transwestern Real Estate Services represented the landlord.
Del Valle Brands, a brand development and distribution company specializing in Caribbean markets, will occupy the entire building.
"Seagis invested significantly into the building since the former tenant vacated in December, and we are excited to welcome a stable tenant such as Del Valle Brands," said TRE Managing Director Thomas Kresse. "The lease is indicative of the type of activity we have been used to seeing in Miami-Dade County amongst larger tenants."
The free-standing building has Palmetto Expressway frontage and is located at the southeast quadrant of the Palmetto Expressway and Okeechobee Road, offering ease of access to major thoroughfares for distribution throughout South Florida.
Lee Katsikos of The Katsikos Group represented the tenant during the lease transaction. Seagis, headquartered in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, is an owner of industrial real estate in New Jersey, New York City and South Florida. It owns more than 11.5 million square feet of warehouse space with a focus on Northern New Jersey, the Queens/Brooklyn/Bronx markets and Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Seagis, which has a portfolio of more than 5.1 million square feet in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area, has an office in Miramar, Florida.
