CORAL SPRINGS, FL—United Medco, a supplier of pharmaceutical products to the managed care sector, has leased nearly 88,000 square feet of distribution and office space here. The building will eventually serve as the company's national headquarters with the company saying it plans to add 50 to 75 jobs over the next several years.

The distribution and office space is located within Coral Springs Commerce Center II. Cushman & Wakefield represented United Medco. The landlord is Exeter Property Group, a global real estate investment manager. United Medco was recently named one of Inc. 5000's fastest growing private companies in America.

Cushman & Wakefield Industrial Executive Director Rick Etner tells GlobeSt.com that United Medico plans to add HVAC to the warehouse and will be expanding the office space over the next few years to accommodate the company's headquarters. He says the building is not expandable, but Exeter has more than 400,000 square feet under construction in the business park.

Coral Springs Commerce Center II is a four-building distribution park comprising about 564,651 square feet of space. United Medco will be located in Building 1, which was built in 1981 and extensively renovated by Exeter in 2019. The lease brings this Class A industrial building to 100% occupancy.
