Pompany Business Center II

BROWARD COUNTY, FL—Charlotte, North Carolina-based Wastequip, a manufacturer of steel and plastic products to collect, handle and transport waste and recyclables, has leased nearly 40,000 square feet in the Pompany Business Center II. The lease brings the approximately 133,800-square-foot building to full occupancy less than one year after opening. Cushman & Wakefield's Industrial Team negotiated the lease with building owner and developer IDI Logistics.

"Wastequip was exploring options from I-595 to Pompano Beach for distribution purposes to service the Tri-County area," Cushman & Wakefield's Matthew G. McAllister, who represented Wastequip in the lease negotiations, tells GlobeSt.com. "This particular site included turnpike frontage, excess truck parking, speculative office that was ready for occupancy, and the ability to service clients from Jupiter to Miami with immediate access to the Florida's Turnpike and I-95."
