NEW YORK CITY- George Comfort & Sons has signed a 14,140-square-foot lease with SCHOTT Corporation,  a prominent international technology group, at its recently redeveloped six-building complex located at 1100 King St. in Rye Brook, New York.

A joint venture of George Comfort & Sons and DRA Advisors acquired the six-building, 565,000-square-foot office complex situated on 25 landscaped acres in 2018. It features recently renovated lobbies and common areas, plus amenity offerings with conference facilities, three cafes, two fitness centers, ample parking and shuttle service to the nearby Port Chester Metro-North station. Also provided are outdoor seating and activity spaces that feature volleyball and bocce courts.

Cushman & Wakefield represented the SCHOTT Corporation in the transaction. George Comfort & Sons had its in-house team and CBRE represent their interests in the transaction.

SCHOTT's expertise is in specialty glass and glass-ceramics. The company, with more than 130 years of outstanding development, materials and technology experience, has served as an enabler for many industries, including the home appliance, pharma, electronics, optics, life sciences, automotive and aviation industries. The company plans to relocate its North American corporate offices to the Rye Brook location in the first quarter of 2021.

Nearby the property is the Westchester County Airport, Hutchinson River Parkway, I-287, I-95, and I-684, Other tenants include the POP Displays, Nomura, Xylem, Compass Group and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
