MIAMI—Mario Garcia-Serra, an environmental and land use attorney with the Miami office of Gunster law firm, says in spite of the lockdown conditions brought about by the pandemic, April was his busiest month so far in 2020 in terms of billable hours.
"That's in part explained by the fact that we have all been forced to be more efficient," Garcia-Serra tells GlobeSt.com. "There is no time lost commuting to the office or between meetings. We have been busy."
Garcia-Serra, who represents major developers before local government boards and regulatory agencies, says construction in the Miami-Dade area has proceeded unobstructed, save for social distancing requirements. He says these requirements have produced few issues.
