LAS VEGAS – The downtown Las Vegas, 1.25-million-square-foot, Circa Resort & Casino is on track to debut on October 28, 2020, after a previously slated December 2020 launch date. Located at Fremont St., the integrated casino-resort will open its first five floors ahead of schedule; offering amenities and a state-of-the-art parking hub, Garage Mahal. The casino-resort's developer, Derek Stevens reallocated construction resources from Circa's hotel tower to its first five floors in order to achieve this expedited timeline. Circa's hotel tower, which is slated for completion at the end of 2020, will host 777 rooms and suites, starting on the eighth floor. Hotel room reservations will go live on June 24, 2020. "Sometimes life throws you curveballs, and 2020 has been an unpredictable year for the entire world," said Stevens, who additionally owns Golden Gate Hotel & Casino and the D Las Vegas. "However, thanks to the creativity and ingenuity from our partners at McCarthy Building Companies Inc. and Tré Builders, we can move forward on this accelerated path and have an opening unlike Las Vegas has experienced. We are excited to see what the future holds and to give visitors and locals something to celebrate." Within its first five floors of amenities opening in October, Circa will offer the following: |

  • A three-story, stadium-style sportsbook, boasting a 78-million-pixel, high-definition screen that will be viewable throughout Circa's two-story casino. The sportsbook will have the capacity to host up to 1,000 guests. The sportsbook will be operated by Stevens' sports betting venture, Circa Sports. The third-floor area will house a dedicated broadcast studio for Vegas Stats and Information Network.
  • An outdoor, year-round, pool amphitheater, which will host special events, parties and sports watching on a 14-million-pixel screen. The area will offer six temperature-controlled pools, two spas, and pool cabanas which will host up to 50 guests. The venue will also feature its own food and beverage venue.
  • A two-story casino, featuring 1,350 slot machines and 49 table games.
  • Original food and beverage concepts, including Paul Saginaw's family style deli, Saginaw's Delicatessen; Chef Barry S. Dakake's premier steakhouse, Barry's Downtown Prime; Victory Burger & Wings Co. sports bar from Chris Sotiropoulos and Grace Keros; and Chef Rex Bernales's Project BBQ.
  • A fully-integrated, ride-share hub, Garage Mahal. The nine-floor, parking and transportation venue, will feature an Uber and Lyft pick-up area, valet and self-parking, an air-conditioned bridge over Main St. and art instillations throughout.

Upon completion, the resort will employ 1,000 employees.
