Occidental Extends Houston Office Lease Through 2031
Parkway Property Investments negotiated the amendment for the 972,145-square-foot lease.
HOUSTON, TX – Houston-based, Occidental has extended its 972,145-square-foot lease at Five and Three Greenway Plaza, through 2031.
The oil and gas company has occupied space at the 52-acre, Houston campus since 1987.
Located between downtown and uptown, the property features a new 150,000-square-foot, “Diamond Club” Lifetime Fitness facility, a state-of-the-art conference facility, a child care center, common spaces with curated programming, a Zagster bike sharing program, a rotation of food trucks, and range of food and beverage concepts.
Parkway Property Investments’ director of leasing, Rima Soroka and managing director of leasing, Eric Siegrist negotiated the lease amendment.
“Anchoring Greenway Plaza with Occidental as the largest tenant and longest office lease in the campus is gratifying. We believe this transaction is a testament to Parkway’s continued investment in, and re-imagination of, Greenway Plaza and further validates Greenway Plaza as a preeminent business community in the Sunbelt region,” stated Siegrist.
