The real estate firm Sudler Cos. has been selected to develop a new 172-acre business park in Greenville County, SC.
New Jersey-based Sudler, a veteran-owned and family-run firm, is leading the development of the Fox Hill Business Park in the city of Fountain Inn. The development will accommodate up to 2.5 million square feet of manufacturing and distribution space, the Greenville Area Development Corporation said.
"Until today, and despite a well-earned reputation as one of America's leading destinations for business and industry growth and success, Greenville has not announced a new Class A business park in years," Mark Farris, president and CEO of Greenville Area Development Corporation, said in a statement. "Coupled with the expanded inventory of sites and speculative buildings we can offer, Fox Hill will help ensure continuing energy among new and expanding corporate citizens looking to grow in Greenville."
Sudler owns and manages more than 9 million square feet of commercial real estate. Farris called Sudler "a highly respected leader in American real estate development for more than a century" and "the optimal partner to develop Greenville County's new Business Park."
The Fox Hill Business Park, with close access to two interstate systems, is Greenville's first Class A business park in 20 years. The development site was picked after a two-year due diligence process.
Sudler principal Brian Sudler said the Fox Hill Business Park is site-ready and offers amenities for commercial users including large-scale manufacturers and those outfits in the warehouse and distribution space.
"Fox Hill Business Park is really emblematic of our brand," Brian Sudler said during the announcement presentation. He called the property a "stunningly beautiful" parcel of farmland "on a major thoroughfare in business friendly upstate Greenville, South Carolina." He added: "Our commitment to upstate South Carolina is to be the absolute standard in industrial development."
"We plan on being here a very long time," Sudler said.
