Extell Development Co. has unveiled its first East Harlem commercial development. Branded Harlem Headquarters, the new nine-story, 441,600-square-foot office building is located at 180 East 125th Street. The firm has appointed Cushman & Wakefield to market the Class A office building.

This is Extell's first project in the submarket. "We've been looking to develop a project in Harlem for a long time and now is the time," Gary Barnett, founder of Extell Development Co., says in prepared remarks.

Designed by global architecture firm Gensler, HHQ is one of the first new ground-up office buildings in Harlem. It is located between Third Avenue and Lexington Avenue and is adjacent to several transit options, including the 4, 5, and 6 trains and Metro North with direct access to Grand Central.
