NASHVILLE, TN – Equity Street Capital and Big V Property Group have closed the country's largest outdoor retail shopping center transaction this year to date. The partnership acquired the 843,248-square-foot power center, The Avenue Murfreesboro, located outside of Nashville, TN for $141.3 million.

The shopping center was acquired in an off-market deal and now serves as the largest commercial center, per square foot, to transact this year.

The property, situated on 96 acres of land in Murfreesboro, TN, comprises six multi-tenant buildings, eight freestanding outparcels and five vacant pads.

The shopping center features prominent retail brands as tenants, such as Best Buy, Dick's Sporting Goods, Belk, H&M and Petco.

The transaction represents Equity Street Capital's 30th commercial real estate acquisition.
