Blackstone Selects JLL to Lease NJ Industrial Project
The 215,221-square-foot project is being developed by Blackstone Real Estate’s US-based industrial real estate operating portfolio company, Link Logistics, and the Hampshire Real Estate Cos.
WEST CALDWELL, NJ – Blackstone Real Estate’s US-based industrial real estate operating portfolio company, Link Logistics, and the Hampshire Real Estate Cos. have selected JLL to lease a two-building industrial development, located at 5 Dedrick Place in West Caldwell, NJ.
The 215,221-square-foot space comprises a former suburban office building, which is being transformed into two state-of-the-art industrial facilities. The property, built in 1986, previously served as the former corporate offices of Ricoh USA Inc. printers and copiers.
The redevelopment project’s building A encompasses 134,453 square feet, including 10,319 square feet of office space, two loading drive-in doors, 11 loading docks and 154 parking spaces. Building B encompasses 80,768 square feet, which will feature 5,730 square feet of office space, two drive-in loading doors, eight loading docks and 109 parking spaces. The properties will each offer class-A industrial amenities.
Located near Interstate 80 and Interstate 280, the project is situated in close proximity to Port Newark, Port Elizabeth, Bayonne, Jersey City, New York City and Newark Airport.
The project is scheduled to be completed in 2021.
JLL managing director, Chad Hillyer, SVP, Jenna Imperatore and VP, Tyler Baker will oversee the leasing assignment for 5 Dedrick Place.
