NKF to Lease NJ Trophy Office Asset

MADISON, NJ – Onyx Equities has selected Newmark Knight Frank as the exclusive leasing agent for the class A, trophy office building, 1 Giralda Farms in Madison, NJ.

The 154,417-square-foot, four-story property has not come to market for leasing in many years.

Newmark Knight Frank will lease 115,000 square feet of office space on the property’s second, third and fourth floors, which recently became available.

Newmark Knight Frank’s vice chairman, David Simson, executive managing director, Jeff Schotz and director, Harrison Russell will represent the property’s landlord, Onyx Equities, as well as its partners, Taconic Capital Advisors LP, Axonic Capital LLC and Machine Investment Group.

The property’s current tenants include BNY Mellon, Mariner Wealth Advisors and Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf.

1 Giralda Farms features 522 covered parking spaces, a full-service cafeteria, a fitness center, a conference center with auditorium-style seating and outdoor seating areas.

The office property is situated on a 375-acre corporate campus along the Rte. 24 corridor, which was once part of the Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge Estate. The Giralda Farms campus features hiking trails, a park-like setting and shuttle transportation to the Madison, NJ transit train station.
