Stan Johnson Co. Acquires Atlanta-Based Brokerage Firm

The firm’s first company acquisition aligns with its strategy to expand its multi-tenant retail investment sales presence.

ATLANTA, GA – Stan Johnson Co. has acquired the Atlanta-based, commercial real estate brokerage firm, Shane Investment Property Group.

The acquisition aligns with Stan Johnson Co.’s multi-tenant retail investment sales growth and diversification strategy, which the company announced in October 2019 upon reaching $35 billion in cumulative transaction volume. The company has since sought out opportunities to add real estate professionals in key markets.

Creating a partnership, the acquisition will provide Shane Investment Property Group with access to Stan Johnson Co.’s nationwide brokerage community and professional support platform.

As a result of the transaction, Stan Johnson Co. will open a second Atlanta-area office in the northern suburb of Alpharetta, GA.

Shane Investment Property Group CEO and founder, Emery Shane will join Stan Johnson Co. as senior director. Shane additionally brings a team of five investment sales professionals to the firm, including Jeff Enck, Doug Clyburn, Brian Lane, Kermit Hairston and Billy Benedict.

Stan Johnson Co.’s managing partner of strategic initiatives, Josh Campbell spearheaded the transaction for the firm. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
