Vital TOD Has Direct Access to Milpitas BART/VTA Station

MILPITAS, CA—A 317-unit transit-oriented multifamily community is now open at 1828 S. Milpitas Blvd. Anton Aspire is Walnut Creek-based developer Anton DevCo’s first development in Milpitas.

In specific, residents have direct access to the new Milpitas BART/VTA station, providing access to employers and entertainment throughout the Bay Area. Tesla, Cisco, Apple, Google and thousands more are within minutes of the community as well as entertainment hubs such as Levi’s Stadium, which is less than 5 miles from the community.

Anton Aspire offers an array of open floor plans in studio and one- and two-bedroom units ranging from 563 square feet to 1,091 square feet. Units feature private patios and balconies, and encircle garden courtyards for private outdoor socializing.
Common-area amenities include fully equipped co-working spaces, a fitness center, WiFi, outdoor barbecue and fireplace, EV-charging stations, bike storage, assigned covered parking and a rooftop swimming pool terrace, all in a LEED-certified building. The seventh story pool deck has a 20-foot-wide and 10-foot-tall entertainment screen, fitness pavilion, lounge area and gaming room.
Anton Aspire is the first phase of a 583-unit master community for Anton. Across S. Milpitas Blvd., Anton Ascend will offer 266 apartments homes and an additional 1,700 square feet of retail in the second phase. Anton Ascend is expected to complete construction in the third quarter 2021.
Another new project, the 144-unit Anton Ladera apartment community in Mountain View, is preleasing and now open.
Overall, the Silicon Valley region recorded decreases in occupancy rates as well as effective rents. However, suburban markets in the Silicon Valley and Sacramento have shown resiliency and increases this year, signs that these areas will rebound from the pandemic faster, according to a Colliers International report.
