Newport Beach-based RiverRock Real Estate Group has expanded its management team with the addition of Janice Church as regional VP for the Los Angeles region. In the position, Church will oversee a 7.5 million-square-foot portfolio. The size of the growing portfolio made this an ideal time to expand the management team.

Church joins the firm from Hines, where she was senior regional facilities manager for the west region, overseeing the Amazon account, which included 30 sites and 4.5 million square feet of space. "This opportunity was an ideal fit for me because I had reached a point in my career where I was ready and eager to take my skillset to the next level," says Church. "I wanted to do that with an organization that was rooted in a strong culture around their people and clients."

Church brings 20 years of experience to the firm, and plans to leverage that experience to oversee a large portfolio. "I will be able to utilize my years of experience and skills in property management on a much broader level allowing me to serve beyond just a single team and asset, which is something I have longed to do," she says. "I will have the privilege of providing the leadership, support, and presence to further expand our existing footprint in Los Angeles."
