JLL Capital Markets Appoints Co-Heads of DC Office
The firm has appointed senior managing directors, Andrew Weir and Jamie Leachman to the roles.
WASHINGTON DC – JLL has appointed senior managing directors, Andrew Weir and Jamie Leachman as co-heads of JLL capital markets in its Washington DC office.
Within their new roles, Weir will lead the Washington DC investment sales advisory platform, while Leachman will oversee the debt & equity placement business.
Weir joined HFF in 2004, prior to it being acquired by JLL in 2019. Throughout his more than 25-year industry career, Weir has closed more than $22 billion in office investment sales, recapitalizations and portfolio transactions within the Washington DC metropolitan area. Weir holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester and an MBA in real estate and finance from the University of Wisconsin.
Leachman additionally joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition in 2019. With more than 16 years commercial mortgage banking industry experience, Leachman has been involved in more than $10 billion of debt & equity transactions, specializing in multi-housing properties and portfolios throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area. Leachman holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration degree from University of Virginia.

The former co-leads of JLL capital markets, Washington DC, Stephen Conley and Jim Meisel will remain with the firm as producers. Coney will additionally continue to sit on the JLL capital markets executive committee council.
