In preparation for our Women of Influence special feature and retreat, GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum and GlobeSt.com together is putting a spotlight on the achievements of women in commercial real estate.
This year, we collected nominations across a number of fields, and will celebrate the winners at our GlobeSt.ELITE Women of Influence Conference in Park City, UT. This year's amount of entries was our biggest yet.
This particular category was open to female brokers whose primary function is to source and originate debt and equity capital on behalf of borrowers within commercial real estate. The women chosen in this category aren't necessarily the most active or prolific dealmakers in the field. More importantly, we were seeking professionals who have shown dexterity and creativity, and have consistently met borrowers' needs despite market fluctuations and uncertainty. These financing brokers have well-developed relationships with the industry's major sources of capital, and a distinct reputation as someone with experience, integrity, a strong financial skill set and commitment to excellence.
