ALEXANDRIA, VA – Aventon Cos. has commenced construction on the more than $100 million, 366-unit apartment community, Aventon Huntington in Alexandria, VA.
Located at 5919 N. Kings Highway, the new seven-story property will feature smart home technology and will be certified silver under the National Green Building Standard for sustainability. The community will offer studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartment units.
Spanning four acres of land, Aventon Huntington will feature more than 15,000 square feet of indoor amenity space, including fitness and yoga studios, gaming and media lounges, remote-working lounges with private offices, a podcast studio, a video conference studio, a rooftop deck, an indoor sky lounge, a pet spa, automated package delivery, bike storage and repair shop and covered parking.

The community's outdoor spaces will include a private resort-style pool, a summer kitchen, an outdoor media lounge and an outdoor remote-working courtyard.
Located adjacent to the Huntington Metro station, the property is located within a few miles of Old Town Alexandria, Amazon's future headquarters, the Capital Beltway and Reagan National Airport.
The Huntington submarket is currently experiencing a rapid transformation into a thriving transit hub.
