In preparation for our Women of Influence special feature and retreat, GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum and GlobeSt.com together is putting a spotlight on the achievements of women in commercial real estate.
This year, we collected nominations across a number of fields, and will celebrate the winners at our GlobeSt. Women of Influence Conference in Park City, UT. This year's amount of entries was our biggest yet.
This year's finance category was open to professionals who work primarily on the capital side of the commercial real estate spectrum, including loan officers, underwriters, analysts, and the like. The submissions received in this category ranged from small, regional banks and credit unions, to national investment banks, CMBS and GSEs, to institutions, REITs and life companies. The women celebrated in this category aren't necessarily the most active or prolific lenders in the field but rather, professionals who have proven to be able to navigate the current financial climate while ensuring a healthy risk/return scenario for their firms.
