CenterPoint Properties Acquires Bronx Logistics Center for $116M
The firm purchased the fully-leased, 145,144-square-foot, class A, distribution center from Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Blumenfeld Development Group Ltd.
NEW YORK CITY – CenterPoint Properties has acquired a 145,144-square-foot, class A, last-mile distribution center in the Bronx for $116.5 million.
The company purchased the urban logistics center from the partnership of Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Blumenfeld Development Group Ltd.
The logistics center, located at 1080 Leggett Ave., is fully-leased to a Fortune 50 company.
The property features 22-foot ceiling heights, 18 loading docks, 4 drive-ins and onsite parking.
Located in the Bronx’s Hunts Point submarket, the property is situated along the I-278 Bruckner Expressway, near the Hunts Point Food Distribution Center. The site offers access to I-295 and I-278.
Representing the seller was the JLL capital markets team led by senior managing director, Andrew Scandalios, senior managing director, Rob Kossar, senior director, Tyler Peck and managing director, Karl Brumback. JLL’s executive managing director, Leslie Lanne assisted in the sale and secured the tenant.
