LAS VEGAS—This year's CREW Network Convention will be held September 28-30, commercial real estate leaders from all around the globe will come together for deal making, business networking, industry education and leadership development in a hybrid event. 2021 CREW Network President, Tiffany English, senior director of architecture at Qualcomm, tells GlobeSt.com that "The CREW Network Convention is an opportunity to expand your business network and gain knowledge and insight from industry leaders and business strategists." She adds that it is the place to find new business contacts, partners and deals, as well as quality leadership and business development opportunities.

"It's also a platform to reconnect with your industry peers and business partners," she explains. "And, this year's convention is open and accessible to all—you have the choice to join us in-person at The Mirage in Las Vegas, or virtually via our digital platform."

Among the eight networking sessions at the event, there will be four general sessions, breakout sessions including mega sessions and conversation corners as well as access to Netwalk/Netrun and Yoga sessions. Among the three keynote speakers will be Linda Alvarado, president and CEO of Alvarado Construction Inc.

Alvarado started her "unplanned career" in construction working in construction as a laborer for a landscape company in college. She then worked as an on-site contract administrator for a commercial development company on large planned-use projects.

Attendees can look forward to learning more about how she went from starting a curb, gutter, and sidewalk concrete firm into expanding its construction expertise and capabilities into a large construction company. Alvarado also made history in 1991 by becoming the first Latino owner (male or female) of a Major League Baseball franchise, the Colorado Rockies. We look forward to hearing more of this trailblazer's accomplishments.

Another keynote speaker at the convention will be held during a luncheon program on Sept. 29, where Mauro Guillen from Wharton School. Guillen teaches in its flagship Advanced Management Program and many other courses for executives, MBAs, and undergraduates.

Guillen was just recently appointed the next Director and Dean of Cambridge Judge Business School. His online classes on Coursera and edX have attracted over 100,000 participants from around the world and during the conference, he will talk about how today's biggest trends will collide and "reshape the future of everything."
