JV to Develop Largest Class A Warehouse in DFW’s History

USAA Real Estate and Seefried Industrial Properties will break ground on the 1,272,240-SF distribution center in Forney, TX in Q1 2022.

FORNEY, TX – USAA Real Estate and Seefried Industrial Properties are partnering to develop a 1,272,240-square-foot, class A distribution center in Forney, TX. The facility will serve as the largest development of its kind in Dallas-Fort Worth’s history.

The modern facility, East Gate Logistics Center, will offer a cost-effective solution to large-scale e-commerce, distribution and manufacturing uses.

The state-of-the-art warehouse will feature 40-foot clear height ceilings, on-site trailer queuing, abundant car and trailer parking, multi-tenant capability and an ESFR sprinkler system.

The project is expected to break ground in Q1 2022 and deliver in mid-2023.

Located at the intersection of Highway 80 and Gateaway Blvd., East Gate Logistics Center offers access to Interstate 20 and is situated 20 minutes from downtown Dallas. The property situated within a 30-minute drive to a labor force totaling more than 1.3 million people.

Forney, TX is currently one of the fastest growing cities and school districts in the state of Texas. In the past two years, the city has experienced tremendous growth as its industrial market has expanded with key logistics facilities for Goodyear, Amazon and more. Kaufman County was also recently named the third fastest growing county in America.
