It is becoming increasingly difficult to find a good bargain or even a reasonably priced home across most markets these days. Indeed, there are many markets where housing prices are overvalued and at least five that are nearing their peak. In that environment, what is a home buyer to do? If he or she is willing to migrate to a new city—and since the start of the pandemic people have proven more than willing to do that—there are in fact some so-called hidden gems in the housing market. That is the term coined by the National Association of Realtors for the 10 housing metro areas of at least 200,000 residents it expects to be outperformers in 2022. Check them out above.
