Unprecedented, off-season demand for apartments is redefining renter turnover, according to a report from RealPage.

Apartment leasing is typically a seasonal business, with demand cooling with the weather in the winter months. 

"But that hasn't happened this winter," RealPage said in a release. "Apartment occupancy ticked upward during the month of January for the first time on record."
