Marcus & Millichap Appoints Head of East Region Practice

NEW YORK, NY – Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp. has hired Marc Sznajderman as SVP to oversee the firm’s capital markets finance services in the eastern US.

During his more than 20 years of capital markets finance experience, Sznajderman has closed more than $20 billion in real estate originations. He hold an extensive track-record of raising debt and equity on complicated, highly-structured transactions.

Through the appointment, Marcus & Millichap aims to benefit from Sznajderman’s expertise and his relationships with both domestic and international capital.

“Marc’s background in all aspects of real estate capital markets will be instrumental in expanding the team’s footprint in major markets,” says Evan Denner, EVP and head of business at MMCC.

Sznajderman joins MMCC from at Ackman-Ziff, where he served as a senior managing director and was responsible for advising public REITs, private equity funds and privately-held owners and operators on debt and equity raises and other capital markets assignments.

Prior to working at Ackman-Ziff, Sznajderman was managing partner and co-founder of RM Capital Management, where he assisted in handling more than $10 billion of advisory transactions and more than $300 million of principal transactions. At RM Capital Management, Sznajderman oversaw all aspects of the firm, including debt and equity capital advisory, recapitalizations and restructurings, and he led more than $1 billion in transactions.
