‘Really Bullish About Our Business’: Why One Woman of Influence Remains Confident About CRE

Julie Baird, President of First American Exchange Company, will discuss her insights into current market trends at this year’s Industry Mega Trends panel

As the inflationary environment heats up and rates rise, Julie Baird, President of First American Exchange Company, is confident about the state of the market.

“I’m really bullish about our business and about commercial real estate in general,” Baird tells GlobeSt exclusively in advance of her appearance at GlobeSt’s Elite Women of Influence conference later this month in Deer Valley, Utah. “There’s a lot of pent up demand and equity out there.”

Baird will join other key industry influencers at the conference’s Industry Deep Dive: Tackling the 5 Mega Trends Impacting CRE panel on Tuesday, July 26 to discuss the current state of the CRE market and break down key trends. She’ll also tap into her own philosophy around authentic leadership, which she says is “all about transparency and showing up.”

“You have to meet people where they are,” says Baird, who assumed the role at Fist American Exchange, a national qualified intermediary owned by First American Title Insurance Company, last year.  “You have to speak out about what matters to you and to the company. And now more than ever, you have to break down barriers to help managers, especially newer managers, get to know their peers and build their own supportive networks.”

Check back for more thoughts from Julie and her colleagues on the upcoming Women Of Influence Industry Mega Trends panel in the coming weeks.
