Commercial real estate professionals now have two more development opportunities at their disposal thanks to two new designations from BOMI International, the Independent Institute for Property and Facility Management Education.
The specialized designations, the PPA and FPA, are the result of a national collaboration led by BOMA New York, which offers a full curriculum of property and facility management classes to owners, managers and professional service professionals. They were championed by Bobbi McGowan, BOMA New York's Executive Director, who said the designations allow individuals and companies to better understand their clients' needs.
"Working daily with property and facilities managers, BOMI's coursework provides service and product vendors the opportunity to understand the day-in-the-life of their clients, as well as a way to truly support them," McGowan says. "I am proud to have been part of bringing these new designations to our allied members so they can receive the recognition they deserve."
