Newmark Hires New Head of Global Research
The firm has appointed Cushman & Wakefield-veteran David Bitner to spearhead global research as executive managing director.
SAN FRANSISCO, CA – Newmark has hired industry veteran David Bitner to spearhead global research at the firm.
As executive managing director, Bitner is responsible for the strategic vision and execution of research initiatives. Based in the San Fransisco Bay Area, he focuses on leveraging the firm’s deep, data-driven market intelligence through thought-leadership, with an emphasis in the capital markets space.
In effort to identify potential risks and opportunities for investors, Bitner employs a client-centric research approach that includes analysis of international macroeconomic trends, real estate fundamentals and capital markets dynamic.
With more than 12 years of experience in finance and 10 years in the commercial real estate industry, Bitner most recently served at Cushman & Wakefield as VP and global head of capital markets research before joining Newmark.
In his new role, Bitner will work closely with executive managing director of research Jonathan Mazur and he will report to chief administrative officer Roger Anscher.
