CHICAGO—This year’s 2022 CREW Network Convention will be held September 21-23 at the Hilton Chicago, where more than 1,200 commercial real estate leaders from all around the globe will come together for deal making, business networking, industry education and leadership development in one event.
Barbi Reuter, CEO and Principal of Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR and 2022 CREW Network President, tells GlobeSt.com that CREW is thrilled to be back fully in-person for this year’s convention and anticipates a sold-out event.
“Our agenda is jam-packed with business networking, education, knowledge sharing and learning excursions,” she says. “With more than 30 sessions to choose from, participants will be able to choose their own unique learning journey and maximize their convention experience—all while making the valuable and meaningful connections you come to expect from CREW Network.”
A few key highlights from the event include a lunch program with economist Marci Rossell, a world-renowned economist and financial expert who electrifies audiences, speaking candidly on the nexus of economics, politics, culture, and the media. Rossell honed her animated style serving as the popular, lively Chief Economist for CNBC, where she became a household name and a must-watch source of financial news. Rossell is revered for taking complex economic issues, often dull in the button-down business press, and making them relevant to people’s lives, families, and careers.
Another highlight at the event is a conversation with Lisa Ling, an award-winning journalist and gifted storyteller. She is the executive producer and host of This is Life on CNN, where she explores the scourge prescription pill addiction in Utah, the recent influx of women in North Dakota’s boomtown, and a town in the rural Midwest where young men aspire to be priests.
According to Lindsay Fierro, Sr. VP Operations with NAI Global, “Our group of executives and managers are looking forward to the upcoming CREW Convention and for the primary yet basic benefits that event attendance offers – women-to-women networking in a safe, enhancing and inclusive environment where everyone feels heard and valued.”
Fierro tells GlobeSt.com that “In addition to networking with other CREW professionals at breakout sessions and social gatherings, we’re hosting a group of women for private networking and recruiting and also taking advantage of being in Chicago by producing an orientation about NAI Global for our office in Chicago – NAI Hiffman,” she adds.
Fierro will be joined at CREW by Betty Bonner, Head of Finance and Accounting at NAI Global (she also serves on the Executive Leadership Committee), Chantal Zivari, NAI Global’s Marketing Manager and Martha Hobby, Marketing Director with NAI Global.
