Seyfarth Shaw LLP Appoints New Real Estate Partner

Seyfarth has hired Patterson Belknap-veteran Jason Polevoy to serve in its New York office.

NEW YORK, NY – Seyfarth Shaw LLP has hired Jason Polevoy as a real estate partner in its New York office. Polevoy joins the firm from Patterson Belknap.

A broad-based real estate practitioner, Polevoy holds comprehensive transactional experience across various practice areas, as well as first chair acquisition/disposition, leasing and financing experience.

During his more than 20 year career, he has focused on the office, retail, hospitality, life science, industrial and multifamily sectors, and he has assisted clients with commercial leasing, sales and acquisitions, joint-ventures, debt and equity financing, restructurings, workouts, and management, construction and architect agreements.

Polevoy recently served as the chair of the New York City Bar Association’s real property law committee. He earned his JD degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law in 1998 and his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1994.

Since the beginning of 2021, Seyfarth’s New York office has added more than 40 attorneys, including nine new partners. The firm’s New York commercial real estate practice includes more than 30 lawyers.
