Legence, a Blackstone company that has claimed to be "maximizing the efficiency of more than 1 billion square feet across 5,000+ buildings," announced three "key" acquisitions in the Western US "to provide deep and localized expertise in decarbonizing the built environment," according to a press release.

"These strategic acquisitions include Shadpour Consulting Engineers Inc (SC Engineers), a California-based MEP [which means mechanical, electrical, and plumbing] engineering firm focused on mission-critical customers, Trinity Process Solutions Inc (Trinity), a design-build mechanical contracting firm in Los Angeles that specializes in high purity process piping, and KLOK Group, a full-service MEP engineering solutions provider in Colorado," the company wrote.

The acquisitions expanded Legence's professional capabilities and allowed the acquired companies access to the parent's "ecosystem of engineering and implementation expertise."
