Attom Unveils New Property Reports Search Product

Property Navigator can provide data on commercial and residential properties.

Attom, a private equity-owned firm that provides property data, introduced a new product, Property Navigator, that promises a combination of search with access to “extensive property data” on many commercial and residential properties.

“Property Navigator offers quick access to property information, market analysis, comparables, and more for over 155 million properties nationwide,” the company says in a press release. “The solution serves real estate agents, investors, appraisers, and enterprise organizations. Customers can get started with Property Navigator in minutes and access over 300 data points and presentation-ready property reports. With the solution, customers save time and make informed data-driven decisions.”

Users can undertake searches on specific addresses or owner names; neighborhood or school district or by custom drawn areas on maps; recent sales, occupancy status, or vacant properties; distressed signs including pre-foreclosure, auction, or bank-owned; or mortgage by lien position, date, or type.

The software offers a variety of data, including but not limited to building and lot information, taxes, zoning, flood zone, sales history, mortgage balances, active or past listings or liens, and multiple automated valuations with other analytic tools to help determine property values.

A fuller set of available data shows many more types, including market analytics such as sales trends for an area, opportunity zones, loan trends, and vacancy rates; home equity, assessor tax and market values, and rental AVM for valuation; 11 types of foreclosure-related data; property characteristics such as exterior and interior features, building permits, and lot size; various hazards, like hail, wind, tornado, air pollution, and weather risks; climate change risks; and neighborhood and schools details.

Attom says users can use the data for multiple purposes, including finding off-market properties or HOA and tax foreclosures.

“As our data footprint continues to expand, so do our data solutions, in order to meet the challenges and opportunities in today’s market, while continuing our mission of increasing real estate transparency,” Todd Teta, the company’s chief technology and product officer, said in prepared remarks. “Our Property Navigator solution offers convenient access to our vast data warehouse, providing valuable insights for today’s market challenges and opportunities while increasing real estate transparency.”

Once property or data is identified, users can download presentation-ready property reports with detailed list exports.
